Fedor is one of the best mixed martial artists in the world. Despite his recent loss, he has been a top heavyweight for seven straight years. He is a multiple time champion. Prior to his unexpected recent defeat, Fedor had only lost one match and it was a disputed loss. He was in a tournament and was hit illegally. Since he could not perform, to advance the tournament, they let the fighter that should have been DQed move on. Fedor is definitely an MMA beast.
